The parent-teacher meeting

The parent-teacher meeting was held. The students and their parents were informed about the process of the project. Then they explored the twinspace and got informed about how to use it. The parents, kids and the teacher had a great time at the meeting and they started the project with big hopes and excitement.

 It was our first student-parent online meeting. They were given information about the project, e-twinning and the rules of this project.They asked anythings they have wondered about our project and I informed.That was enjoyable.

Our first online meeting for teachers

We held our first online meeting for the teachers both to know each other better and to discuss the main themes and activities for the project. Based on the partners' mutual decision, the project main themes consist of Nature(Global warming, protecting nature, etc), Democracy (Children's rights), Time (telling the time, date, days, week, months, seasons), and Countries & Nationalities as they overlap the current curricula for the schools and they are important learning topics. The pretests will be applied to the teachers and students after the survey items are identified together. The first activity is to create the project logo, which would be a word cloud using the web2 tool Mentimeter in September. We will hold an online meeting for students next week in September after we select the students to participate in the project. A google document will be prepared, on which the partners and students will share ideas about what games will be chosen for each theme.
